What we collect, and what we don't.

TILT Golf Co. is a one-person golf simulator rental business in Draper, Utah. This site collects very little. There are no advertising trackers. We use an analytics tool called PostHog, which sets a cookie, to see how people use the site. The only personal information we ever receive is what you type into the quote form, plus the standard server logs our host keeps.

What we collect

If you fill in the quote form, we receive what it asks for:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your event date
• Your event type
• Your venue or city
• Your approximate guest count, if you choose to give it
• Your company name, on the company events form
• How you heard about us

Nothing else. There are no accounts on this site, and we never take payment details through it. If you book, the agreement and payments are handled separately through Square.

Our host, Netlify, keeps standard web server logs that include your IP address, browser type, the pages you visited and the time you visited them. We don't use these for anything; they exist because every web server keeps them.

We also use PostHog, an analytics tool. It sets a cookie (and uses your browser's local storage) so it can tell a returning visitor from a new one. It records which pages were viewed, which buttons were tapped (like Call, Text or Check my date), the website, ad or social app that sent you, and general details like device type, browser and approximate location. It may also record anonymous replays of how a visit moved through the site; anything typed into the form is hidden from those replays. When the quote form is sent, PostHog records the event type you picked and nothing else from the form. We use it only to see which parts of the site and which posts or ads are working. You can block it with any content blocker or by clearing your cookies, and the site will still work.

Why we collect it

Solely to reply to your enquiry with availability and a price, and — if you book — to arrange and run your event. That's the entire purpose.

Calls and texts

When you submit the quote form you're asking us to get back to you, so we'll reply by email about that enquiry, usually the same day. We only text you if you text us first or give us your number through the chat on this site. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.

We don't run text marketing campaigns, we don't add you to any list, and we don't send promotional messages. If you'd rather we stopped contacting you, reply STOP to any text or just tell us — that's the end of it.

What we never do

• We don't sell, rent or trade your information to anyone. Ever.
• We don't share your email address or phone number with marketers, lead generators or other vendors.
• We don't use advertising cookies or advertising pixels on this site. The only cookie is PostHog's analytics cookie.
• We don't use Google Analytics or anything that follows you across other websites or builds a profile of you.

Who else touches your data

Four companies, and only because the site runs on their services:

• Netlify hosts the site and delivers the quote form submissions to us.
• PostHog provides the site analytics described above.
• LeadConnector runs the chat bubble on this site. If you use the chat, it receives what you type there, such as your name and phone number, and passes it to us so we can reply.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces this page uses. Loading them means your browser requests a file from Google, which means Google receives your IP address. If you'd prefer that not happen, a content blocker will stop it and the site will still work.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries while we're in touch with you, and afterwards for our own records of who we've worked with. If you'd like yours deleted, ask and we'll delete it — no reason needed, and we'll confirm once it's done.

Seeing or deleting your information

Email hello@tiltgolfco.com or text (801) 671‑8373 and ask. Because we're a one-person business holding a handful of enquiries, this is a quick and informal process — you'll hear back from Oscar directly.

Children

This site isn't directed at children and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. Guests of any age are welcome to play at an event, but the booking is made by an adult.

Changes

If this policy changes we'll update the date at the top. We're not going to quietly start collecting more than we do now.
